The Australian & New Zealand Disaster and Emergency Management Conference was held at the Mercure Hotel, Brisbane from the 28th to the 30th of May 2013.

There were over 300 attendees at Conference which provided a forum to examine the issues surrounding natural and man-made hazards.  The dynamic and topical programme had 5 streams over 2 days with over 80 presenters. Podcasts, Proceedings and photographs will be available this month.

Following the success of the 2013 conference, the event will be returning to Brisbane in May 2014. The program committee has been expanded to include representatives from Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, America and Europe. New conference streams are being planned for 2014 and expressions of interest are open now.
