Ms Quinn Cramer
Quinn Cramer is a Board Member of Women and Firefighting Australasia and has been involved with WAFA since 2014 after attending one of their biennial conferences. Through her involvement with WAFA Quinn saw a need to implement and work towards improving communications and mentoring networks for female firefighters in rural areas. Quinn joined the board of WAFA in October 2017 and is involved in membership, marketing and was on the organising committee for the 2018 WAFA conference in Wellington. Quinn Has worked for QFES since 2008 first as an Auxiliary Firefighter before gaining a permanent position in 2011. She obtained the rank of Station Officer in 2018 and is currently stationed in Gladstone, Central Queensland.
Her work in Central Region with QFES led to her being awarded Outstanding Female Leader in an Operational Role at the International Women’s day PSBA awards in March 2017. Quinn also received the award for Outstanding contribution by a Female Firefighter at the WAFA Awards night in 2018.
