** Special discounts are being offered to those that attend the Australian and New Zealand Disaster & Emergency Management Conference (3 – 5 May) as well as the Search and Rescue Conference (6 May).

Conference Registration Inclusion

Full Registration: 4th and 5th May (Member, Non-Member, Presenter, Concession)

  •     Attendance to all conference sessions and keynote presentations.
  •     Conference materials, including satchel, handbook and book of abstracts (online).
  •     Softcopy of the book of proceedings (available after the conference).
  •     Access to presenter podcasts following the conference.
  •     Meals for the duration of the conference including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
  •     Ticket to the Welcome Reception including drinks and canapés – 4th May.
  •     Please note workshops on the 3rd May are not included and can be booked for an additional $99.

Day Rate: 4th or 5th May

  •     Conference sessions and keynote presentations for the nominated day
  •     Conference materials, including satchel, handbook and book of abstracts (online).
  •     Softcopy of the book of proceedings (available after the conference).
  •     Access to presenter podcasts following the conference.
  •     Meals for the nominated day including morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea.
  •     Please note Day Rate does not include the welcome reception. Tickets can be purchased on the registration page.  

Social Event
Tickets to the welcome function are included in full registrations only. Tickets can be purchased from the registration form for day delegates and partners.

Half day workshops  are available at an additional charge to both delegates and non-delegates. Book early to avoid disappointment as workshop places are limited.

Early Bird Registration
A discount is available for registrations received and paid before Monday 30 March 2015. Registrations not paid by that date will be re-invoiced at the standard rate.

Concession Registration
Concession registration is available for full time students and unwaged persons. A discount will be applied to the full registration only (not including the presenter and day rate).

Please note that it is essential for all participants including speakers, delegates and presenters to register.

Payment Conditions
Once registration is received a confirmation email and tax invoice will be issued. All accounts must be paid in full 30 days from the invoice date or 10 business days before the conference start date, whichever comes first (unless applying for the early bird rate).

The organisers reserve right, without notification, to cancel outstanding accounts any time after 30 days from date of tax invoice being sent. All registrations received after Monday 20th April 2015 must be paid in full by credit card only.

If payment is not received prior to the conference, access will be granted only after full payment is made via credit card only.

Cancellation and Amendments
The conference committee understands that circumstances can change. At any point prior to the event you are welcome to contact us in writing to nominate a substitute delegate at no extra charge. All cancellation and refund must be received in writing to the conference secretariat.

A full refund less a $150 service fee will be issued for cancellations received on or before 19th March 2015. Registration cancellation received between 20th March 2015 and 2nd April 2015 will receive a 50% refund on the registration fees. No refunds will be issued after the 3rd April 2015. Non-payment does not constitute cancellation.

All accommodation bookings will be subject to the individual hotel cancellation policy. Please contact the conference secretariat for the hotel cancellation policy

Travel Insurance
It is strongly recommended that delegates have travel insurance to cover medical and travel expenses.  The conference does not endorse or have any arrangements with any companies.

The conference organisers reserve the right to change activities, topics and presenters where necessary. "The organisers shall not be liable for any loss caused by the cancellation of the conference where such cancellation is due to Force Majeure. The term "Force Majeure" means any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of the organisers including but not limited to War, hostilities (whether war be declared or not), terrorism, aircraft hijacking, military operation, riot, civil war, rebellion, civil commotion or unrest, natural disasters, Acts or Regulations of government, refusal to grant visas, explosions, transport delays, transport difficulties and the insolvency of airline carriers. The organisers will use all reasonable efforts to conduct the conference despite the intervention or occurrence of any such cause."
